MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN OF MESDA

It is my great pleasure to give a welcome message in this first issue of MESDA bulletin as a Chairman of the Mekong Endo-Surgery Development Association (MESDA) which was established in July 2016 and registered on September 5th, 2016 as a Nonprofit Organization (NPO) in Thailand.

As I have been appointed as the first Chairman of MESDA, I try my very best to meet its objective, to increase the number of surgeons who can perform Endoscopic Surgery reliably and safely in Mekong region. Through the activities of MESDA, I hope Asian and Mekong countries can be united as one family to promote the advancement of endoscopic surgery.

I am very confident that the activities of MESDA training courses can contribute to many surgeons in Mekong region for the development of skills and knowledges. I hope MESDA continues to make rapid progress and to play an active part in this area.

Hope to see you all in any MESDA activity such as a hands-on training course and in the coming MESDA course at Bangkok this year.
